Manager, Los Angeles Angels
Ron Washington, current manager of the Los Angeles Angels, is widely regarded as one of the best infield coaches in the game, and a skilled motivator and leader. He spent parts of 10 seasons as a player in the major leagues, then another 15 coaching in the minors and majors. In 2007 he was named manager of the Texas Rangers, and in 2010 became only the third African-American manager to lead his team to a World Series.
